I have to :) First of all, the submission form doesn't support tags and categories, so I have to organize them as they come in - but second of all, we'd be slammed with SPAM in no time if they weren't moderated. Once a user has posted a certain number of haiku that have been approved, they won't have to go through the approval process anymore.
